Layouts for Film

I decided to roughly board out my 4th year film, and when I finished that I did all the layouts, although I'm not sure what style I want everything in so its all potentially gonna change. Not posting storyboards yet! :3 Since that'll just end up spoiling the whole film, so sorry if this sequence of images don't make sense :)

Group Film!!

Here's a bunch of stickers I designed for our group's characters, hopefully I can get them printed out to everyone so we can go crazy sticking them everywhere around the school wing :D

Heroes and Villains :D

Our Heroes and Villains assignment for life drawing, we had to take poses we drew in life drawing and exaggurate them to make them either more chivalrous or more villainous and design characters to support the poses, it was lots of fun :D

I wanted to play with the idea that heroes aren't always perfect and can make mistakes with how villains can be captured but not defeated. Next update this Saturday (hopefully)!

24 Hour Film : Shifted

Keep in mind, this was all done on 3x5 post-it notes so each frame is drawn and coloured individually, captured with a camera and composited with Adobe After Effects :D

Yes, it was painful, it wasn't even a true 24 hours film cause shooting it took about 7 hours and another 2 1/2 to composite D;

In the end though, this thing is our baby

24 Hour Film

Didn't update this Saturday cause of the 24 hour film thing we do every semester at school, it was awesome. We promised not to show anyone until the screening about a week from now, then we'll all post it on our blogs for the rest of the world to see :D

The only information I can give out is that it's all done on post-its, and each frame is coloured and there's about a minute and a half of this- yes we are crazy.

Also, these are my revised characters for the time period assignment, I personally like the animals more then the people characters D;

Edit: Ok, so not posting 24 hour film yet, we're thinking of doing something more with it <3

Character Era Conceptssss...?

These are just concept sketches for a time period of your choosing, I chose the Taisho Era in Japan, when Western clothing was slowly influencing everyday clothes in Japan. I tried to design the characters based on general pottery designs at the time, leaning towards different things; like prints and houses, still working on it...>__>

These were done for the ending of our group project in storyboarding class :O Rofl, yes, the ending is as naughty as you think it is...I was going to post these last weekend but ended up forgetting

This character was made for our Beak/Muzzle assignment in character assignment. He was actually supposed to be a dentist but on a spur of the moment I drew on fangs and liked how it looks, so it stuck and he became BEFERATU (The name was decided upon after we watched Neferatu in Film History xD)

The Cassowary, the world's deadliest bird; very territorial, have 1" talons on their feet, quill-like feathers, can jump about a meter into the air, and are from Australia. EVERYTHING from Australia wants to kill you D; Anyways, I made her into a lady so when she's kicking for YOUR FACE, it's very unexpected.
